Write a letter to congress, senate, speaker of the house, govenor, and every one else that will read it and get a law passed.

Or you could run for president, and fix every thing that is wrong with this country.

I'm not fed up with the war.

I participated in the one 40 years ago that lasted 14 years. I dislike the fact we are not winning, but that's another issue.

As to your question, there are procedures where a presidential veto can be overriden by a two-thirds vote of the appropriate house of Congress. It won't happen in this case, because neither house has enough votes to override a veto.

If you want the war over with support the troops. They are the ones who can end it in the way that is best for both you and me.

That's what Congress and the Senate are for. They can override the President's veto with a 2/3 vote. Of course getting 2/3 of either House to agree on anything is pretty much impossible. you can always write to your Representative and let your voice be heard though.
