No. His religion is his own business, and he will decide whether or not to share his faith in his own time.

Lots of otherwise normal people are Mormons, and it's nothing really to be ashamed of, unless, of course, he starts door knocking.

Otherwise it's just a normal variation of Christianity. Tell him you still love him, no matter what his religion is.

Would you "tell" or out a gay person that was atheist or agnostic? If so, then I guess that's just who you are. If no, then what is the difference? Just because someone is Mormon doesn't mean they are perfect or profess to be. Everyone deals with their own issues and they are for them to work through. If you want to discuss it with him and offer your advice that would be fine, I'm sure. We should respect people regardless of their lifestyle or choices. Good luck.

Do you loveyour uncle? I would stay out of it and let your uncle live his life the way he sees fit otherwise you will loose your uncle. Your uncle will hate you and never speak to him again. I've heard what mormons does to gays. *shudders*

What dark secrets does your life hold that you want noone to
know??? Your uncle will work out the dilemma how and when
he's ready. Get off here with your mean self.

No! My friend is Mormon, and I can tell you that if you told anyone, it would be a big deal to their ward! (ward = church, for anyone who doesn't know... I didn't know until I met my friend, and then I felt like the biggest ignoramus in the world!) Go research Mormonism and you'll see just how conservative they are. Trust me, if would be a big disaster for that secret to get out. If he ever wants it out, he will let it out himself.

Tell who?
If you are considering telling your Bishop I do not think that is a good idea. I think it is up to your uncle to decide if he wants to tell anyone or not. Have a talk with your uncle and tell him he needs to be honest with his faith.

I don't think that is your place to tell. When he is ready he will. There might be a logical explaination for why he hasn't told yet. Just let it be.

Who would you tell? Did he do anything to you or another minor? If so, tell the police. If not, the church won't believe or do anything unless the evidence is in their face and they can't ignore it.
