Most FBOs change fuel price when they receive a new load of fuel, and their price is adjusted to compensate for the price of the new fuel. Unfortunately, Avgas keeps getting more expensive, both on a wholesale and retail basis. To add to the price increases due to the oil companies' desire for more and more profit, there are now bills in the House and Senate which, if passed, will increase the tax on 100LL by 50 cents per gallon, as well as imposing user fees on all of us. We all really need to let our Representatives and Senators know that we are opposed to this. If you haven't, check out www.aopa.org for more info. This proposal (submitted by the administration) could practically kill GA.

You know what really gets me is that several FBO's raise the price when they hear the next load will cost more. (They dont lower it when they hear the next one will cost less they wait for it to get to them!) Oh well thats business. I fear that we will see many more jumps before summer!
I'll recheck but I think it was only about 20 cents here in Fort Worth.
