i think i have a little split ends, but im not sure how to keep from getting them so my hair grows healthy.. i heard that if you wear your hair down more often than wearing it up that you will get less split ends because the hairtie is not cutting into the hair with pressure... is this true?

and should i not be blow drying my hair??

Split ends come, and split ends go...if you trim them off. I'll bet you're glad to hear that everyone has them at least. You should get fairly regular trims, if you want to grow it out, try every 2 1/2 to 3 months, and if you don't, you can get it every 6 weeks.
1. Blow drying your hair tends to dry it out, and too dry is never good, so moisturize afterwards. Blowdrying your hair too often isn't good period.
2. Yes, it does strain your hair when you pull it back-make sure you get ouchless hair bows at least, or cloth covered ones.

It might be parcially true, but it honestly depends on the hair things and how tight you wear it. Often times split ends are caused by the hair drying out from over styling. Find a leave in deep conditioning treatment (a good one, you might have to pay a little more for it) and put that in your hair after you wash it and it's still wet. Normally the directions tell you to leave it for so long, ect. The best advice I got from my hair dresser is that you need to open the cuticles in order for those treatments to work. Take a plastic bag and wrap it tightly around your hair and wear that for at least ten minutes or so. If needed, stick the hair dryer in the bag for a minute to get the heat started. Your own body heat will take care of the rest of it. The longer you leave it, the more it will condition. Then once you're done, rinse and you should have much healtier hair. Do this often to keep it moisturized, expecially if you stlye it often.

Yes it is true, but if you have healthy strong hair(which is achieved through using good salon quality hair products and eating lots of healthy fruits and veges) a regular haircut will help to keep split ends at bay.Try not to wear your hairtie too tight as well.Heat styling(blow drying) is ok in moderation, but make sure you protect it with a good quality heat protectant. This wont stop them, but it will help make your hair healthier, thus; not so many split ends!!

it may be parcially real, even nevertheless it relatively relies upon on the hair issues and how tight you place on it. in many circumstances circumstances chop up ends are led to via the hair drying out from over styling. hit upon a bypass away in deep conditioning scientific care (a competent one, you are going to be able to ought to pay a splash extra for it) and positioned that for the duration of your hair once you wash it and that's nevertheless moist. regularly the guidelines inform you to bypass away it for subsequently long, ect. the final suggestion I have been given from my hair fabric cloth wardrobe is which you are going to be able to desire to open the cuticles to ensure that those remedies to artwork. Take a plastic bag and wrap it tightly around your hair and positioned on that for no less than ten minutes or so. If mandatory, stick the hair dryer interior the bag for a minute to get the warmth began. your individual physique warmth will guard the the remainder of it. The longer you bypass away it, the extra it is going to situation. Then as quickly as you're executed, rinse and you need to have a lot healtier hair. try this in many circumstances to maintain it moisturized, expecially in case you stlye it in many circumstances.
