Suicide bombers are manipulated and brainwashed into "heroic martyrdom." They're taught from day one to feel humiliated by Israel and realistically, the people in charge can’t afford expensive tools to support the warfare so they prey on the negative emotions of bitter teenagers and young adults.

An atheist once stated that more wars have been started because of religion than for any other thing known to man kind.

I agree with the guy 100%!

I only wonder if the guy that made the comment realized just how true his comment was or is.

There is a lot of proof out there, but few are willing to believe it!

the main reason is Muslims themselves. I provide an occasion. whilst a action picture reported as Davinci code , an AntiChristian action picture is released , what proportion Christians take bomb and kill others? what proportion violent protest you observed?.. many human beings even don't comprehend that's against the religion of Christianity and those memories are taken from heretic gospels. yet whilst a flopped action picture, Innocence of Muslims released( easily a 10 minute trailor) , 100s of people have been killed via the bombing and protest of Muslim mob international. Whom to blame? quickly, Muslims choose for to link , each issue in this international with faith ( stable or undesirable), jointly as frequently different religions would not, that's why whilst there's a issue related with Muslims comes , individuals factor to their faith. in case you utilize faith for benefit something in politics or something( say Israel- Palestine conflict, very almost all Muslims are aggressively in touch to make a campaign against Jews) , you need to take the blame with a similar faith, if it is going incorrect.

Yes it is ignorant and narrow minded to lame terrorism on religion. Political warlords with sick twisted ideas about how the world should be manipulate masses of the ignorant and uneducated and often times illiterate who are brought up to be Islamic and tell them that Al'lah would approve of such atrocities, and they believe it, b/c they really don't have any way of finding out for themselves. It isn't even a matter of religious fanatics, it's fascist authoritarian war mongers rallying the people and manipulating them to believe they are acting under this cheap guise of distorted religion that caters to their way of thinking. This has nothing to do with religion at all, even the so-called Islamofacists really aren't even practicing true Islam or carry out it's ideals, they're just using selective interpretation of select scripture to suit their own needs and desires.

I think the blame is more complex than that. Islam is fundamentally no more hateful or violent than christianity. The difference is cultural. In the Christian West, we went through a great cultural upheaval called the Age of Reason. During this time, we learned the values of: Secularism, Science, Liberty, and Equality. These values compete with, restrain, and inform our modern Christianity.

The Islamic world has no equivalent period of history. Their culture has remained relatively unchanged since the Dark Ages. Thus, while their religious beliefs may inspire them to terrorism, the root of the problem is cultural.

I think it's pretty stipud to blame an Arab living in a cave for the destruction of the twin towers... Or to build a wall that can be seen from space in the name of security when a child can just sneek right through... Or when the US spend $400 billion and thousands of US and Iraqi lives in the name of democracy and freedom...

Yes it is, because religion is a concept and no concept does harm to anyone, it's what people do with that concept that causes harm.
And it confuses me at times, when you look into the major world religions they all have a phrase in their 'holy book' (Bible, Qu'ran, Torah etc) which runs along the line of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" (Sorry to those of non-christian faith, but it's the only one I know of by heart).
No, it's people with agendas that cause harm.

people just use religion as a scare tactic to ensure their own agendas. Terrorist could care less about their religions. But the people they enlist are devout and easy to convince for the cause. They just exploit a persons faith.

What I blame is the people who pervert a religion to suit their needs. Each religion started out peacefully and ended up deadly and bloody. Sad really.
