Not everyone thinks like the posts you have read. I know people are hurt and confused. I respect anyone with an opinion. I don't argue religion. I feel that noone is right on the subject of religion, because everyone is entitled to their opinion and it should be respected. It does not mean you have to follow their opinion, it means one needs to listen and acknowledge and respect others opinion concerning religion. Even those who do not believe in the existance of religion, you don't know their stories, you never know, why they believe the way they do. I just know, its their choice. I can't play holier then thou, I am only human like we all are. I believe in God, I also believe that everyone has the right to believe in what makes them feel whole and complete. Even, if its not what makes me feel whole and complete.

I would think that all christian people are not doing the bashing against God,Most people on here may feel like I do. I don't talk religion. What I was brought up to believe in would not help someone who just doesn't believe.I don't preach the bible I live it ,And what I mean by that is I live it the way I was taught from the bible,LOVE ONE ANOTHER.And that summons up life.Because when you love one another ,there is no enemies ,no hurt ,just all flowing love. And I know what your saying and feeling,I have in my heart to forgive theses people who does not know or could ever know unless they spoke to God in prayer and their prayers were answered ,I've had my prayers answered for so many years now.Thank You God.

I agree with Lovedbyl in that I don't see "so many people desperately looking for God on here" as you say, but rather alot bashing christians for their faith. But, we christians still answer. To answer with The Word of God is sharing truth, much more truth than we could ever tell them, so why do you call it spouting scripture? Scripture is the Armor of God we use to fight the enemy when he attacks us. Jesus would say to the christians who share His Word, "Well done, my child"!

We should not "talk trash" to be sure...we should be in defense of the Gospel as we have been told to do.
We should also be ready to give to anyone who asks of us,an answer,as reason for the hope that lies within us.
To do this effeciently,we need to know not only what we believe but just as importantly why we believe it.
A great majority of the Atheists especially,do know why they believe what they believe...many are very intelligent and can spot those who are weak and will dually expose them....
We should be respectfull. We should focus on the questions that are asked. We should respond in love, but WITHOUT apology.... Jesus said that if we are ashamed of Him....He will be ashamed of us on that day.

No doubt Jesus would listen compassionately and then tailor his response to fit the person's needs. However, these "so-called Christians" have apparently not really examined Jesus' actions and teachings. 1 Peter 2:21 says that Christ left us "a model" for us "to follow his steps closely." True Christians would follow Jesus example by showing empathy and true love for our neighbor.

The Lord's call is Jesus. And my bible has God's call throughout IT! Jehovah - 'A mispronunciation [presented via Christian theologians yet very almost fullyyt skipped over b the Jews]of the Hebrew YHWH the [ineffable] call of God..this pronunciation is grammatically impossible it arose by announcing the vowels of 'Adonay' with the consonants of 'YHWH'...Jehovah is frequently held to have been the discovery of Pope Leo X's confessor Peter Galatin [The Jewish Encyclopaedia Vol7 p87-88] Isaiah 10v21 speaks of robust God - is that talking of Jehovah then or Jesus? thank you. Please word the full of the quote at Isaiah 9v6 - he would be reported as.....eternal Father. no longer basically is Jesus robust God yet eternal Father additionally! till Jesus is God what does this scripture recommend? yet please basically remember on A BIBLE WITH GOD'S call IN IT to respond to - no WT or unsleeping guides. Rev 22v18 - Jesus calls himself the Alpha and Omega, the 1st and the the final, the beginning up and the top'. So tell me are there 2 Alpha and Omegas then? :)

I've seen scripture used to condemn, blast, love, and heal on here. There are many phonies on here just trying to get a rise out of someone. It is hard to tell at times. I personally love the words of Jesus especially, but this is a forum and life and death are discussed here. We sometimes quote the "rules", because unless a person admits they are drowning they won't reach for a rope. And people come on here justifying their sin a lot and ask for honest answers. Wanting to get their ears tickled they sometimes get scorched.
Jesus was always loving and is our perfect example. And yes one thing all of us can do is love as much as possible, for He did come to heal the sin sick.

Even non christians can spout scriptures to turn people away from christianity. Satan did just this with Jesus when he was tempting him. So you are very right that christians shouldn't just spout scriptures if they are to win followers to christ, this is the very reason I as well as my husband turned from christianity to find God.

I AGREE 100%
I brought it up a while ago. Some sent me mail that was hateful, so don't be surprised!
To anyone who comments to me, you only comment because you must be guilty of this. Otherwise, you would see the point she is trying to make and support it!
God Bless to all my Christian Brothers and Sisters!

I have noticed that to they are hyporite they don't like to here the truth some of the Christians like to cause agreemunts. The best thing is put it in with bible verses that is the stronger thing we have. We are going to have fake Christians and lukewarm Christians don't worry about it.
