I suggest you get her spayed!! Why on earth have you NOT done it in the last 11 years. This is TOO old for a cat to have kittens. Why would you want to bring yet more kittens into the world when there are already MILLIONS of unwanted pets that are euthanized each day! Why not get an education and spay your cat so she does not have to suffer through more heat cycles.

11 is way too old to have kittens. She should have been spayed a long time ago. Not spaying a female increases the risk of cancer. Take her to the vet immediately.
Animals can go through invitro fertilization (just like humans) but that would be very expensive. Besides, no vet would inseminate an 11 year old cat!

11 is the equivalent of 60 in human years. You cannot blame her for being upset with the male cat! Actually, the mating ritual is painful for females and she probably instinctually knows this. Male cats have barbs on their phallus that hurt when they pull out (I believe it is mean to help the sperm move deeper).
I believe eleven is too old. Check with your vet, but it is possible carrying to term could kill her. If your cat is not a pure bred, and you are not breeding her, please reconsider trying to get her pregnant. There are enough stray and homeless cats in the world.

Allowing this cat to even attempt reproduction at this age would be completely irresponsible. She should have been spayed long ago and at the very least, it should be considered now. The health risks associated with an unspayed cat are many including cancer and pyometra (infection of the uteris).

hi I'm a vet and the older the at gets the harder it is for her to have kittens i suggest that you should not breed her if you really want to have kittens go adopt a girl cat make sure she is the right age. that would be the best idea. good luck !!

"she is in heat like ALL the time" -- honey, take that cat to the vet. It probably has uterine cancer. Spay, neuter. ll years is too old to have kittens. Just like in humans when eggs get old birth defects become more prevalent. Get the cat fixed - you can't be a doofus your entire life!! -k-

i think 11 is a little bit too old to try to get a cat pregnant. unless u want her to die or something. i would keep her away from male cats and talk to a vet to see what they think about it. yes they can artificially inseminate cats.

If you feel bad for her then get her spayed. Even if she survived having kittens, she will go right back into heat ALL the time.
