How long does it take to build an airport?

Building it is not what takkes so long..

Acquiring the land, zoning,permits, bids, etc etc . can take as long as 10 years.

Forever. Airport construction is never done. Once one project is done they start on a new one.

It depends how big its going to be .... and whether its going to be international or not.
