The entire quote is "Is all that we see or seem, but a dream within a dream?" And it is significant to me because I am an English major (love Poe) and Italian minor with Italian roots. I just want the words "a dream within a dream" but I want them translated CORRECTLY so my tattoo doesn't have the wrong words or look stupid. Does this even translate? Anyone know what it would be? (My Italian is limited here.) I'm thinking "un sogno entro un sogno"...

I'm Italian and I suggest how we would say here in Italy :
"un sogno in un sogno" (shorter and simplier...fits better for a tattoo)
