we don't know yet if he had a wife or not .
the gospels didn't talk about it , but they didn't say it that clear
remember that 2 gospels of the 4 we have , didn't talk at all about the virgin birth of Jesus
about Genesis 6:2 above .. yes it says that the sons of God did take wives from doughters of men .. but was it a good thing they did ?
as I remember , it was more like a sin , read all the story

The way it was meant in Genesis is completely different than in the New Testament. The "sons of God" in Genesis were the children of Adam, descended down through generations. Jesus was the one true Son of God, sent to Earth to free us of our sins. In Genesis, the people were trying to populate the Earth. Jesus was trying to free it from sin.

Jesus was given a commission from the Father to attone for the sin of man. His mission did not include the time nor did he have the need or desire for earthly pleasure and or the things of the world.
He completed 33 years of life as he hung on the tree for the sins of all mankind, never to have known the affection of a woman or as some idiots on other posts have alluded to..a man.

See, they had relations with the women and ended up producing children called Nephilim. These offspring turned out to be like giants and they were bullies. God never gave permission for angels to do this and so they deliberately went against God's will. They themselves chose to disobey God and are currently awaiting their destruction along with Satan and his demons. Jude 6.
As for Jesus. He didn't come to earth to reproduce, but to do God's will. :)

He could not make Himself impure by defiling Himself with the pleasures of the flesh. If He did this, He would not have been able to take ALL the worlds sins that we committed. He had to remain a virgin. It is the same concept that nuns and priests have, monks, satanist, etc.

Because God knew what was going to happen when he sent Jesus down.
He knew that he wasn't there to satisfy his own needs, but to save us and the sinners from the world.
Just to give us a chance to be on the right path and have everlasting life in heaven.
