Both programs should come up with the same tax liability and refund amount. If they don't, you've messed something up on one of them. Go back and check your work.

If you efiled with Taxact, then tried to efile with Turbo Tax, your file is probably being rejected due to the earlier filing.

If the report is broken, I doubt that is going to likely be any diverse on yet another pc, yet you should objective it. rapid Tax has its issues. one 365 days, I called for their fee based help with a tax question. I sat on carry for 20 minutes and finally gave up. I in no way spoke to every physique, yet they billed me for the 20 minutes i became on carry and would not enable me report or print my return till I agreed to pay it. I emailed and complained to no avail. I no longer use rapid Tax. are you able to view your return? Did you get affirmation that it went via ok? If it went via ok and you could view your return, you're able to make the main of Turbos provider the place they save it on report for countless years do you need to choose it for an audit. stable success.

I think you need to ask yourself one teeeeny little question before you file this tax return. Why is the refund amount different according to these two programs??? When you find that answer, you'll know what's going on with the turbo tax.
