Please tell me if you would, which is better, Vista or XP? Will I have trouble switching operating systems? Should I get the free upgrade to Vista or if not, why not?

i would recommend if u have a good size harddrive to upgrade with a partition. what this will do is split the hard drive in half in a sense, installing vista but leaving xp on the other half. this way you will actually have both and when you start your pc/laptop it will ask you if you want to run xp or vista. and this way you can always get rid of one or the other when you choose!!good luck!!

Vista is new, XP is proven. MS has just extended non-technical support for XP for another 5 years. For this reason I think many of us will not switch right away. For some it would require buying a new PC. These may help you decide.
