He had some serious mental issues, he hated himself and thought he was horrible sometimes, and thought he was doing God's work sometimes, and thought that he was some kind of world savior other times. In large though, he really didn't think he was a good person.

Nobody considers himself a villain. He thought he was "cleansing" the world of bad influences--Jews, Gypsies, Gays, etc.--in order to make way for the pure and deserving to live more easily.

I imagine that there were times, but I'm not a profiler. What I see from who I've met that were deviant was that they did what they did well, and no one could say anything contrary to that.

They seem to have a need to have a promoted look to others, like they were above everyone else. Like they were someone that everybody should look up to.

You know, arrogant and delusional.

No one thinks that they are bad. Each person no matter how twisted they may be thinks in their own mind that what they are doing is at least justified if not right.

This doesn't make it justified or right but don't try telling a fundi or PETA support that!

He probably thought he was doing the world good, as do most people fighting in wars etc, they do it for their 'god' or whatever, they do it because they think its right.
I mean if they thought it was wrong they wouldnt be doing it right?
