i'm an african-american muslim, & coming from a culture which many of my familys' men had 2 or more wives. i see nothing wrong with it as long as he takes care of them "clothes, feed & house them" because allah said in the qur'aan 4:3 a man can take up to 4 wives provided that he treat them equal.
