It depends.

(1) American military standards for fitness are actually quite low compared to most other nations. Americans tend to enter the service overweight, and have a hard time fighting obesity as they age, just like the civilian population.

(2) Compared to the civilian population, servicemembers are actually at a better state of fitness; regular exercise and getting kicked out for being chronically obese for too long are good at trimming the ranks (not that good though).

(3) If you want "ripped, cut bods" then you'll have to watch for an "elite" combat unit such as Marine Force Recon, Ranger Regimental Recon, and other such units where they devote much, much more of their time to physical and warfighting perfection rather than paperwork, cutting grass, trimming hedges, and repainting lines in the parking lot. Everyone else ... is everyone else.

Sorry to burst your bubble there. You're better off without that fantasy though. Really.

I'd say about 10% of the guys in the military have cut bodies. I was in the Army and I have dated men in all branches of the military. Not all are hotties.

How many men overall have ripped cut bodies? Most military men have average bodies. Same goes with firefighters. In women's fantasies a firefighter is ripped, but in reality, most firefighters have average bodies. My husband is in the military and I have seen many many beer guts.

that's effortless. you would imagine a benevolent God would hate an a**hollow with out manners. preserving the door for persons is only a effortless courtesy. i assumed the fundies were meant to have all those previous-timey, Emily positioned up manners. guess no longer. God likes manly men who will slam the door interior the face of an ageing disabled man or woman and snigger at their weak spot at the same time as they cave in.

Hahahah! No! There are some chunky chunky monkeys in the military. All the branches have a few. Generally they can't get to be morbidly obese because they'll get removed (their PT scores will suffer, and they'll be chaptered for failures). You get flagged. You get no awards or promotions. You get the pleasure of presenting a larger target to the enemy, and you get to overheat in the desert. There is no incentive to being a gross pig. But, that doesn't mean it never happens!

It's the uniform that shows off the bod. put them in civilian clothing and you wouldn't look twice at them.
Military clothing tends to evoke a subliminal message that they are perfection personified.

No that is just a myth. Most soldiers are in fighting shape but then you have the ones who are pencil pushers and do nothing but sit on their asses all day.
