1st one is German - welcome
2nd one is French - welcome

the 3rd one looks like welcome as well....
could be Dutch Norweigian Afrikanis or any of those....
a few languages spell it that way,
but at the moment I forget which ones.

(I just went online to check, and Dutch DOES spell it that way
so I guess I was right to say Dutch the first time.)

All mean "welcome".
The first is German, the second is French
and the last is Dutch.

re: "what the word was to?"

It came from the "Welcome" song in the musical:
"Cabaret".

The Master of Ceremonies was welcoming his multilingual audience to the show.

The song is probably derived from the standard welcome used by multilingual Europeans in the hospitality business before they know their guest's native language. Once the guest responds, they know which language to speak.

Willkommen is German, Bienvenue is French and Welkom is Dutch. They all mean WELCOME.

Bienvenue is female, whether bienvenu (no E at the end) is male.
