Self-gratification and a pat on the back from other non-believers.
I am more concerned about questions (not this one, but others) from Christians that are very hateful toward Atheists. I want to ask them, what do you hope to gain?
God bless!

I find it interesting how Christians automatically assume atheists "hate" them, whenever we ask a tongue-in-cheek question. I have found far more "hate" coming from believers of all faiths.
This place is a forum for debate, discussion, and the occasional nose-tweaking. Christians ask some rather offensive questions, too, I might point out. This is not the place for the thin-skinned. If all you want is to hear your own words reflected back to you, go to church. We will continue to ask our questions, serious or otherwise, and if you get offended, it isn't really our problem. Discussion and disagreement is what keeps our democracy lively.

No. They do it because they can be hateful to people whom they either fear or despise without having to deal with the consequences of what they say. Sort of like spitting at someone from a car then driving away before they can kick your @**.
But to be fair, Christians here often do the same thing by declaring that Atheists, Pagans, etc. are going to hell. Both sides take potshots at each other constantly here. That's kind of the nature of a message board like this.

They want to offend and you asking a question like this is their reward. Also, they could be tired of the seemingly constant stream of anti-atheist questions. I know both sides contribute, but perhaps the atheists don't wish to change just as the Christians don't wish to change.

this question keeps coming up to day over and over, because Christians doubt there beliefs. if Christianity was relay biased in facts , there would be no need to be offended , but Christianity is not based on truth, so you have to justify your belief in fiction.

Don't you think the phrase "Christian haters" is pretty harsh? Just because someone doesn't agree with you, or believe what you do, does not mean they hate Christians. That's a pretty arrogant statement don't you think?

No. But it does get us in touch with the closet atheists that are out there. And it is fun.
