ok, well.... should I ?

there is this guy i know in orchestra and he is from germany.
He is an excellent player and he and cute. I like him alot. But
he is an exchange student. Am i wasting my time?

Yes, he'll be gone and because you probably won't go to Germany any time soon, he'll forget all about you. Life is like that.

Well you know that it won't last unless one of you or he moves to the others country. But you can always just have like a fling though it depends on when he is leaving as to whether it is worth it..
