I lost over 50 lbs by walking and a 2000 calorie diet. last summer and fall You can get all kinds of lower calorie meals off the Internet. The weight will stay off if you stay with the lower cal meals and at least 20 minutes with your heart rate up 3 times a week. To yo yo is to live. very few people can keep their weight down all the time. too much crap in your life kills your diet. I'm up 20lbs from last fall and if I get off my posterior I may lose some off it. Best wishes ,my dear. don't tell anybody but I do better on my weight when I have a woman around, having a Guy around should work for you too

i lost about 30-40 pounds by walking 30 minutes 5 days a week dieting is different for everyone what worked for me was eating more healthy foods and cutting down on how much i ate i ate when i was hungry and stopped when i was full instead of just eating to eat i eat when i'm bored, lonely, happy, etc you know how it goes controlling that is the key and if you feel like snacking eat baby carrots or popcorn popcorn with low butter amounts is way better than chips oh and no soda soda is one of the worst things water or flavored water is definately the best way to go just be sure to loose the weight in a healthy way and you'll do just fine

I sure have. Mind you it was a lot of walking. I think if I translater though it was a bit more than 40lbs. Whatever. I lost 30kg walking. Again a lot of walking, that eventually led into running. I love running. I walked between 10-20kms a day. Anywhere I had to go I walked, choice between sit and stand I would stand (Better for posture) I would carry as much as possible in my hands (cheap weights) and do as many trips carrying things as possible. Walked to work, walk to school, walk to do groceries, if small load walk home with groceries. Just keep on moving.

Yes, when I was in college at a certain stage I was really poor and had to walk everywhere: I looked so good after the first month and I dropped a huge amount of weight.

If I lose 40lbs Ill be dead. But, it would take a long time to pull this off. Join an arobics class. The other peple being there will help you to workout longer, push a little harder and be more loyal to the class then if you did something at home.

Walking will not make you lose much weight. Especially not 40lbs.

A healthy low calorie diet is the number one thing that will make you lose weight.

Working out will make it happen much faster and allow you to eat more calories per day.

Use this calculator to find out where your daily calories should be to lose weight.

i doubt it. some people are just naturally bigger. like myself. ive tried eating nothing to eating 6 times a day. ive taken pills. PLUS i work at a lumberyard warehouse, drink only water, and rarely diet drinks, sweat my ass off in an NC muggy summer, and generally lose less weight than a porcupine hiccups.
