Help! my friend has feelings for me, but i dont feel the same way! what do i do?

i need advice, how can we still stay friends and not make it akward, and weird?

I think that it depends on whether he has said anything to you about it, if he has asked you out or told you he has feelings for you; you will have to tell him the truth, if you don't eventually he will figure it out and may hate you for it. If he hasn't said anything to you about it, you will have to do things that makes him realize you don't like him in that way, for instance don't touch him, like sitting to close to him or patting him on the back or massaging his shoulders or putting your arm around him or even giving him a hug, also don't flirt with him in any way i know sometimes friends can flirt with eachother without it leading to other things, its just friends having fun, but he won't see it this way, make sure you do things that don't seem to him as alone time with you, at least for awhile, and another thing you could do that may seem harsh but he will definitely get the hint is talk about other guys you may like, or you think are attractive, either that or avoid talking about relationship stuff altogether with him. Whatever you do, make sure you point out that he is a good friend and nothing could make things awkward between you.

First you need to realize that he was never your friend. Yes women delude themselves into thinking that I guy and just like them for them, but that isn't true. He is only your friend because he is hoping sometime in the near future to me more than just friends.

ok i experienced dis abt 3 mths back or so.

just tell him det u really do like him but as a fren onli. not up till de satge of dating. tell u can very well say u like him more den a fren, but it'll be out of sympathy. and bcos u respect him and do not wanna lead him on, de truth is de best way even if it hurts

I would jus avoid it :: wen it comes up i would jump into another conversation or be like i gotta do sum :: but if they jus stop u & really really try 2 explain it 2 u jus be honest instead of lyin & ruinin a friendship!

If you really don't feel it...be honest and tell them. Do not get to caught up b/c you might end up saying "yes" just b/c you feel sorry. Tell the truth and if they keep persisting, end the friendship.
