I got an norton antivirus program..but now I had to recover my laptop and now i wont have a antivirus program anymore since it has been deleted, i had it for about 100 days already and its a year plan... so what should i do..if this happend to you before, please reply...should i call them up...or go where i purchased the item...any ideas?

will i get a new plan or continue...how do i get my antivirus plan back?

Hello. If you have the product key you can reinstall it after you format your computer and NAV will continue with its remaining time. You shouldn't have any problems.

Do you have the Norton Disk, booklet and CD Key if needed? If so slip the cd in and reinstall...if not start with Norton's website and start there...your purchase should be in their database...if they can't "find" it which is normal for them...if you paid with your credit card dispute the charge. If you just want a great free anti virus then you could go to www.grisoft.com and download AVG 7.5 free edition. I also recommend that you go to www.belarc.com and download the free advisor. When you run that it shows all the products installed on your pc with the validated CD Keys. Print it and put it on a floppy and keep safe for such emergencies.

There are free antivirus programs to download-AVG is one, I use Avast. I have learned a lot and gotten free info from Kim Kommando.com. Good Luck

HI. Go to the symantec website. Then go to your account. they will ask for your email addy u registered it with and the last 5 digits of the credit card u purchased it with. You should be able to redownload from there. If that dont work there is a phone number there you can call and explain what happened. You bought a license for one machine.You can not run the same license on two machine but you can transfer the license to the other machine.Just go to Norton.com and download the software and put in your user name and password in when it prompts you...good luck

If you bought this and just downloaded it, you are probably out of luck. Always get the disk when you buy something.
