I yes, and you have PPT, your may be a different version. Ask the sender what version he uses.
Microsoft offers a free Powerpoint viewer, You cannot edit a file but you can at least read it. Go here to get the download.

PowerPoint doesn't read e-mail. Outlook does.

either ur powerpoint needs to be updated or probably somethings wrong with it or ur email.
