I always dream of me and my bf. What happens is, we lose each other all the time and can't seem to find each other always. For example, I dreamt one time, we were in a mall, we were running around the mall, running after each other, he looking for me all around the mall and I was hiding from him, eventually, he found me after going up and down the escalators. The last time was we were in a big ferry and the ferry was about to sink and I was finding him so I could save him from the sinking ferry but I can't find him and I didn'y find him. I also had many dreams like this even before, only now, I am the one always looking for him unlike before when he was the one always looking for me.
What can this mean? Thanks.

it means that you've a subconcious fear of loosing your bf, & yet the irony is that you'll tried to get away from him, you do not know what to do with your up & down, sinking relationship, before, he's always there for you but now he's gone

This is not an unusual dream, it is actually an established pattern of dream. It can take the form of what you describe, or it can be that you're looking to get somewhere, but the more you try, the more lost you get. It is your subconscious mind working over the input of the day or just working on the problems of your waking time and being at an impasse for the solution presently.

Maybe you have a fear of losing your boyfriend, or you might end up losing him and wanting him back but you can't have him, which explains why he was lost. A lot of times dreams tell you things you aren't paying attention to. I once dreamt that someone was trying to break into my house, I saw them but couldn't do anything. A few days later at 3:00 A.M. someone broke into my mom's car. I was asleep so that explains why I couldn't do anything in my dream. I've used this with other questions regarding dreams. Dreams try and tell you something you, have to pay attention to them, sometimes it could be a warning.

I've read lots of dream interpretation books. Each author has a different view of what certain elements of a dream should mean. I've also taken lots of psychology classes and read many psychology books. I think the best answer to your question comes from the studies in psychology.
Your dreams come from your mind. So think about what those images and feelings mean to you. Keep a journal of your waking feelings and thoughts, then keep one of your dreams. You will be able to make more sense of your dreams. Most of us find our dreams are telling us something we need to listen to.

Ask yourself if you guys have trouble communicating on a regular basis. Do you find it hard to keep a conversation going? Does he feel closed off emotionally to you? If you answer t hese questions "no,", then I wouldn't worry about it. I don't give dreams as much credit as most people do.
Ie: Once I had a sex dream with this guy I worked with who I was totally NOT in any way, shape, or form attracted to-why? Because dreams are stupid.
If you're not having any real problems with him in real life, just ignore those dreams.

Sounds like a fear of abandonment thing. Do you think there might be anything in your past that could account for something like that?
You are always the best person to interpret your own dreams, though.

wow. that answer he gave was offff lol but I would interpret it a power play in the relationship. When he is lost and you are looking for him, you feel you aren't as in control as he is and perhaps that he is taking advantage of the situation..
However..If you are the one lost and he is there to "Save " you..you feel like either you're unsure he cares for you at times and that his mind is elsewhere.

I think you have a fear of losing him. Do you think there's something thats causing you to feel lost when he's not there? Or worried that you can be without him? Just ideas...but makes sense.

What a person dreams is what their heart desires! I've had several dreams to come true and I firmly believe in dreams.
