Wow, how exciting for her! How about something she can use in her new restaurant's office? Maybe a nice pen/pencil set or a better yet, a pencil holder that has a picture frame built in with a picture of the old staff? That way it's both personal and useful!

Well the director of my department just left last December and I really liked working with her. So what I did was bought some coffee and hot chocolate mix and a box of chocolates. I put the coffee and the hot chocolate mix in glass jars actually they were the jars that candles used to be in. Wrapped it up nicely and then gave it to her on her last day it was inexpensive but it was something that she could enjoy and reuse.

Maybe something for her new restaurant, like if she will have an office there, a sign for the door or her desk.

I like Love'n its idea of the group picture.

I agree with Zimba, give something she can take to her new place.
