I don't want a professional bike or anything, just one that I could use to ride in the morning to make some excercise

You're sweet 16----to get a fine girl type of bike doesn't require a credit card----I suggest you check Kim's Bike Shop website (www.kimsbikeshop.com ) . They have bikes for your style, age, fitness level and even color! Hope you find your personal rig soon.

Depends upon the type of riding that you do. The quotes so far have been for Wal Mart specials.

If you want a good bike though, regardless of age, you are looking at about £250 ($400 - $500). Although I know the exchange rate, I am not Kosher on regional cost. The sort of bike that you are looking at though should have branded components (Shimano, SRAM) alli frame, using at least 6061 grade alloy and a reasonable finishing kit (Bontega, Kenda, etc.).

That said, I think that for most general riding about $200 should get you a nice machine. You might look at e-bay, or second hand (ex display or rental machines are viable.).

Luck

This question need more info. What type of bike; what type of riding.

You could spend anywhere from $50 for the aforementioned Wal-Mart special to $10,000+ for a top tier racing bike.
