can some kind of distance-tracking censor be placed in automobole bumpers so that they make a beep in the car when collision is about to happen in tight parking places..such sensors could be adjustable at choice..

Its ok if you can afford it or can't drive well.

Ford uses them and I'm sure tohers do as well. I have them on my pick up and it does help when you are backing in to a parking space. some models have them front and rear too. In fact, some car makers even have a back up camera ti let you see what's behind you.

This is great while you are trying ot park, however there is nothing to signal the other driver that he is getting to close to you. If everybody had the back up alarms then it would be great. Reality says that won't happen, but the more people that do have the alarms will help decrease the nicks and dings happening in the parking lots.

lexus uses them for the new auto-parking function. The car really parks its self.

they dont do much good, though, when someone bangs you
