I asked a question about my religion on Yahoo Answers.
It is available here, look at the awful abuse I got off people, even christians. It is so hurtful and I am so upset. WHy are people like this?

I have read your other question..I am sorry that people feel the need to downgrade others to make themselves feel better.. I kinda liked your story! I hope it gets published. That was a very unique way of telling it. As far as being able to answer the "why are people like this?" only the person can explain himself. To each there own. Try not to let other people opinions get to just remember everyone is entitled to them. Good luck!

I will try to answer your question. I am part native/American.
I am also 100% a believer in Jesus Christ. You would think
there is a conflict here. I hear stories from the "old ones" of
how the earth was made and of the "Great Spirit". These
stories are not like they are in the Bible, and yet I do believe
it is very close to God. It is certainly very spiritual and has
great meaning. A native American indian's "religion" is more
strict than Christianity. They believe that everything around them was given to them by the Great Spirit. That there are spirits in every living being. They believe that their ancestors
are real to them even in this present life. How can I believe
2 supposedly different religions. I do because I feel they
'both came from God Almighty. They are the same story,
just told in a different way.

You are precious. We are all made in God's image, and I can see him laughing and enjoying your creativity. Maybe someday these naysayers will get what you are doing and slap their heads as if they could have had a v8.

I get hateful answers to questions I put up and answers that I put up. People these days enjoy being mean. I guess it makes them superior to everyone else or they lack self confidence.
