You won't get fat for sure but you are definitly taking in more calories than if you did not drink the vodka. Plus, getting alcohol makes you tired, less likely to burn the calories off. Vodka is only about 65 calories per ounce and has no carbs in it, so it is a good choice if you are on atkins, as long as you don't mix it with sugar. However, any calories that you don't burn off are converted into fat and stored in your body. So, you can get fat but it depends on what else you do with yourself, it's better than drinking white russians, that's for sure!

Drinking alot of straight vodka pretty much guarantees one thing- Kidney Failure. Check out some info on people that get a Dialysis done once a week...

I am not bragging when I say I am friends with several people that drink a lot and I have known them for years and Ive gotta to say they are not fat one is pretty and young but cant get pregnant and the others are just partiers . What you eat has more to do with it than what you drink but what I will say is drink lots of water even after you drink . to at least to try to cleanse your liver and kidney.

it depends.
alcohol contains 7kcal per gram (less than fat at 9kcal/g, but more than carbs & protein at 4kcal/g). so if u suddenly increase your alcohol intake without decreasing the overall amount of calories consumed, yes you will be one fat lass with a busted liver.
but if you exercise and burn off more calories than u consume, you probably wont get fat.

It isn't that fatten but it makes you dehydrated so it will make you blotted. Every little bit of liquid you drink your body will store trying to keep you hydrated. It's water weight so it should pass in a few days.
