taff3sgh…...... in college I was on the deans list.....I read on a regular basis...... I pass tests with a minimum amount of study....... How does being an Atheists make me stupid?

taff3sgh I used to be a Theist..... and i learned about other religions then my own ..... thats what made me an Atheist...... You assume to much.....

Well,I don't. And it doesn't necessarily make anyone a bad person,although it does trend toward amorality in my experience. I guess I'm just annoyed to find a thread designed for people who are interested in religion and spirituality so heavily dominated by extremely aggressive and obviously highly motivated atheists who do nothing but denounce religion and spirituality. It should be a forum for us not them. It could be a good place for a Christian-Muslim dialogue,for example. Unfortunately it keeps getting filled up with garbage from people who obviously aren't seriously interested in anything other than bashing religion.
I mean,look at the threads for marriage& relationships. Is it filled with diatribes from never-marrieds trashing marriage? I don't see any reason to put up with it. There must be blogs for people like you. Though this question is at least worthwhile,intelligent & courteous.

I am a Christian and I don't hate you. I don't know anything about you other than the fact that you're an atheist. You can believe what you believe. I don't have a problem with that.
If you were to start demeaning my religion or tell me how unintelligent I am for believing in God or say that religions should be wiped off the planet or something like that then I would probably like you a lot less but I still wouldn't hate you.

Why do you feel being an atheist makes you a bad person? It is just another belief system. That question is the same as saying "I don't like chocolate cake, am I a bad person?".......

I do not hate anybody.
No, that does not make you a bad person that you are an Atheist. God loves you and He wants us to love one another.
Many people think that we Christians think that we are better people than non-believers of our God. Not the case. I think it comes from the hell issue. All good people do not go to heaven, but all forgiven people go to heaven. : )
I think we should help each other our despite of our differences. : )
