I'm guessing you mean how many do you need to burn? it's not calories you burn to loose weight, calories are energy which gets turned into fat if you don't use it. It takes 20min. of continuous exercise to start burning fat, if you want to burn weight off, 40-60 minute runs, even if you stop and walk. The length is much more important than the pace.

You need to burn 3500 calories to lose one stinking pound, and you can't achieve that in one day. And to come close you would definetly have to eat way under 2000 calories and to portion control your food.
