On the back of my throat I have white patches, and my throat is very sore, it just started yesterday and the white is spreading more, I'm going to the doctor tomorrow but does anyone know what it is?

It might be thrush.

Probably, Strep throat see your doctor and he'll probably prescribe antibiotics. I had the same white patches on my throat...

It is most likely what is called a suppurative tonsillitis, in other words your tonsils may be inflamed and the white stuff are patches of pus on the surface.

Could be a number of things. It is probably a bacterial problem easily treated with antibiotics. Mono, strep, tonsil problem, leukoplakia, cancer, etc.

Why are you asking on here if you are seeing a doctor tommorow?

it could either be tonsilitis or posible severe strept throat
