There really isn't a quick cure...

The only surfire way to lose weight, if you are dead serious about it (if you aren't totally committed to it, you will just become a yo-yo dieter later in life), is to exercise (whether you just go walking 4-6 times a week, or take a bike ride) everyday of the week. I dont mean like a full hour everyday, just get some sort of exercise, whether it is 10 minutes, or 30. And also watch what you are putting in you body (this means food). Junk food, while tasty, is detrimental to your health. Just try to incorporate more fruits and vegetables. While fruit seems like a food you can have as much as you want, and I encourage you to eat it (its DELICIOUS!!) it is also PURE sugar...Incorporate more fiber into your diet as well, since fiber makes you stay much fuller, for a longer period of time....

I would also suggest, that if you get bored with your workout after a short while, is to mix it up. You don't NEED to be working out indoors all the time. You could go swimming, or ride a bike, Rollerblade, take a hike....there are endless possibilities for you to get some exercise....I know that I get bored after doing the same workout all the time....

And....a little fresh air does the body good!!

Assuming you have no pre-existing medical conditions which would make weight loss impossible, you must make a record of what you normally eat for approx. 3 days and figure out the caloric totals. Then, since 1 pound=3500 calories, reduce the calories by 3500 a week (for 1 pound a week or whatever frequency you wish to lose 1 or 2 pounds a week.) Remember, that if you try to lose weight too fast, you body may do this initially but then gain it back. Essentially, you only need to cut 35,000 calories to lose 10 pounds. You can do this by adding exercise or cutting down on food intake. for a good free calorie list: www.fitday.com or www.calorieking.com they have free diaries and calories of foods and activities. You can customize for your age, weight, and activity level. Good luck.

if you feel like you need to lose weight and diet, I hope this helps:

First and Best Way: Excersize!!!!!!!!!!! You need to excersize atleast 1 hour a day and I would say Running/Jogging is the best way to go about it. But personally, I hate that so I do jumping jacks, skip rope, rollerskate, and run up-and-down my stairs. Any type of rigorous, systematic movement can be considered excersize

Second Way: Reduce your intake of highly saturated fats! Stop eating those artery-clogging french fries, chicken wings, etc. It's okay to eat them once a week but don't pig out on them. If you normally order a Large Fries, then order Medium one next time.

Third Way: Reduce your intake of Meat Products. That way, you save animals and help benefit your health. It's true that meat has protein and iron, but you can get iron supplements and protein from vegeterian food. I'm not saying you should have a vegeterian diet from now on (even tho I am a vegeterian); I'm just saying you should reduce your intake of meat. So if you eat meat everyday, cut it down to three days a week.

Fourth Way: Eat your fruits and vegetables. I eat three fruits and three vegetables everyday and I think that has worked for me pretty well (I'm 100 pounds ..n no I'm not anoerexic (did I spell that right?)) Anyways, urge your parents to buy more fruit and veggies and include them in your dinner. Even if you don't want to eat as many fruits and veggies as I do, you should atleast have two fruits and two veggies in your diet EACH day. There is good vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, water, and other stuff in there that helps you lose weight.

Fifth Way: Water is a natural appetite suppressant, so developing a good water drinking habit can be a long-term aid in achieving and maintaining a healthy weight. Doctor F. Batmanghelidj MD, author of "Your Body's Many Cries For Water" says most times your “hunger” is your body asking for water – not food. It's also important to remember that when the body is dehydrated, fat cells get "rubbery" and cannot be easily metabolized. This means that it's harder to lose when you don't drink your water.

Sixth Way: Drink lukewarm water with two table spoons of honey daily (easy way out and fast)

Seventh Way: One-Two table spoons of vinegar (also the easy way out and fast)

Anyways, those were a few options that you can try simultaneously (which is what I recommend) or one-by-one. You take care of urself and good luck with that!

this is what is working for me, because I just realized I was 10 pounds overweight. Buy those Slim Fast chocolate bars. They keep you from being hungry for 4 hours.

This is what you do:
-have cereal for breakfast
-regular lunch with no desserts
-dinner, have a Slim Fast bar at like 4 or 5pm. Then have half a turkey sandwich at 9pm. That will tide you over, and it means that the calories you had for dinner will only be about 500. I've lost 5 pounds in two weeks already!

i found the e book to be very informative and easy to examine. i have lost 17 pounds in 12 days, i'm only worried that i'm dropping too a lot weight, too straight away. i visit admit i have not stated the preparation guide precisely. i'm no longer sticking completely to the listed ingredients and meal plans (yet usually) and doing little or no workout, notwithstanding the load keeps flying off. It obviously works and if i'd stated it precisely i imagine it would scare the residing daylights out of me using quantity that i'd lose. So thanks back for the concepts. i have by no potential offered some thing like this earlier because they're usually finished of trash, yet 3WD has been a delightful wonder. initiate in the present day!

A slow weight loss is better that a fast one. Modify your calorie intake especially of the carbs. You don't have to leave them alone completely, but cut your portions, say, in half. Same is true with fats in the diet. You will then gradually lose the weight. A weight loss of 1-2 lbs. a week is recommended.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

Can you 'manage' to lose two pounds a week? That way you could lose your weight in 5 weeks, instead of 'six months' ... and you can do this 'losing' by making sure that you are 'burning' at least 500 calories PER DAY more than you take in when you 'exercise' ... and yes, you must count EVERYTHING you do during the day, not just 'exercise' ...
