I've been struggling with my 40's ever since I turned 40!!! The older I get the more anxious I get. I feel like I missed my "time" to shine and go after my dreams. I feel like I'm getting older and men won't appreciate me anymore like they did when I was younger. Is anyone else here in their 40's who can share their experiences and inspirations? I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Dear stargaze,
I'm in love the the most beautiful doll I have ever seen. She is a perfect 10! But she is 40! It seems like all the women in my life are 40! They are just as great as they were when they were 20 or 30. Matter of fact I like them better. More mature. No games. Just fun. And know which end of the candle to burn!

Come on and join the fn! It's a blast over 40!

In my 20's but thought I'd help. Your never too old. That's a myth. In fact with age comes wisdom so maybe you should use your wisdom and find a more realistic way to follow your dream whatever that may be. For example: If it is your life long dream to be a rock star maybe you can learn about the industry and find a job producing artists or something similar. I don't know if i did a good job getting my point out, but i hope i helped.

I get the feeling you have been single all your life, 40 is not old!!! You only have to put the same interest in yourself as you did during the younger years..many men prefer mature women,,,particularly if they have depth...and able to converse on a few subject matters of life...plus being able to have the ability to dress appropriately for occasions, table manners, and politeness when in gatherings of all sorts...I could go on but this is sufficient....

Life isn't over until you give up.
Remember yin and yang have to be equal (in my opinion) for you to die. You look like your yang is out of balance, so yin (the good one) is coming. I know I've lost it, but this is my honest advice, so do what you like with it.

Men still appreciate women, and they've finaly stopped acting like they're 12, so, although I'm not near 40, I know you've still got hope, lots of it. Just find it deep in side you, and drag it out.

Look at Demi Moore. Was her life over at 40? Life is what you make it.
