Donating hair?

I have really long hair. My mom thinks I should donate it. Im kind of hesitant about it but I want to make someone else happy. What are the requirments for donating hair?

Here are the requirements listed on the website:

1. We accept 10" minimum hair length (tip to tip). We cannot accept wigs, falls, or synthetic hair.
2. Please bundle hair in ponytail or braid.
3. Hair needs to be clean, dry, placed in a plastic bag, then padded envelope.
4. We need hair from men and women, young and old, all colors and races.
5. Hair may be colored or permed, but not bleached or chemically damaged (if unsure, ask your stylist).
6. Hair swept off the floor is not usable.
7. Hair cut years ago is usable if it has been stored in a ponytail or braid.
8. Hair that is short, gray, or unsuitable for children will be separated from the ponytails and sold at fair market value to offset the cost of manufacturing.
9. You may pull curly hair straight to measure the minimum 10".
10. The majority of all hair donated comes from children who wish to help other children.
11. Layered hair may be divided into multiple ponytails for donation.
12. Please note: Anyone can cut your hair as long as the above guidelines are followed.

you can donation youre hair to help some one like young child whom has cancer and doesnt have any hair on their head . by way , if you do really care about other children and adults out there whom does got any real hairs atall cane make osme body feel better in side and gladful to have something to give back . the doctors and nurses want they do with other hairs they will clean and wash it very with with clean water and dry them good cause they dont want people who has bugs and fleas to harm anyone who going have do wear a fake wags but there are other way that doctors can hatch onto the other person head by having sugery to glue onto their skins on the heads. then next the brain will make it grow out like a real hair . i think that was nice of youre mom told you about having some of youre hair to donated to children and aduts whom lossening their hairs become balds or even to sick people who has lost their hairs because they had brain cancers or illness . wouldnt cost anything to help some body else . what you do is you can go to any hositopal center that you want to go to and you ask for the front office where there will be a nurses and you tell them that its alright to gave youre own for donated to help somebody else who has cancers and wanna to mkae that person feel happy . if they will gladfully to take if from you.

normally 6-10 inches. i donated my hair a few years back. it felt great to be helping someone out and lighten the load on my head. just don't get it too short that you would regret it (ever had a bad haircut? awful). if you do donate it, just remember your helping someone in need and it's hair. it will grow.

The only major requirement is that it has to be 10 inches long. If your good with losing that much, I say grow for it! Its fun to experiment with hair, and it'll always grow back.

Short hair is too mainstream, I love lOng hair on guys more, it looks sexy: 3 short hair can look nice yet it looks really common
