Go watch final destination 3, then she'll fear dying.

Is she afraid of throwing up? Just have her sit in the front so it will land on the people in the back!

Well, if she's really too afraid, then just be a good friend and try not to totally leave her out. I mean, you shouldn't give up all the roller coasters for her, but don't just ditch her. Certainly there are some of those spinny rides, maybe some bumper cars, a ferris wheel.. maybe she could try some of the smaller coasters.. the log ride is always super fun and not a really fast drop.

I mean, if she's been on them and they make her sick, I understand why she wouldn't want to go!

"Gut feeling," also known as apprehension is perfectly natural among the saner denizens of planet earth. That edgy feeling one gets at the top of the drop turns into a whoosh when you reach the bottom and it's just gravity knocking at your door. Does not at all indicate that you are going to be sick, more of an anticipation of a thrill. My dad was a coaster operator back in the days when sex was safe and motorcycles were dangerous, actually a "track walker." Was his job to walk the tracks several times a day for inspection and the more modern rides are far less riskier than driving to the corner store.

She may feel like she will throw up and you really wouldn't want that, but I agree with the metal tracks and make sure she has a seat that faces forward and as far to the front of the roller coaster as possible. I can't ride backwards or in the back.

I used to have that same problem! I hated that feeling in my stomach. What I did was I tried to relax when I was going down the hill or getting close to it, because when you get all nervous your stomach hurts more! Try to laugh right before you go down the hill, or even during it. Just do things to keep the roller coaster fun and don't worry. :]

I have the same problem. Im really scared of being sick afterwards and throwing up 'cause i have a weak stomach. Its not really about dying, heights, etc. [same as your friend]

Anyways,I think the best way is too encourage her to ride it and tell his/her to not worry and that its gonna be fun =]]

She just has to work up some courage and do it...if she really wants to ride it, she will. I think the coasters that have the track above you (where your legs hang down freely) are less scarey to me. If you are going to Cedar Point tell her to start out on the Gemini or Corkscrew. Both are great and not too scarey.

Please, do NOT force her to go on the ride. Maybe there are other things to do there, like games, check out the gift shops, watch you ride on the rides or you could just talk. If there is a group of friends like four of you. You guys could take turns hanging out with her.

My expierience with fear of rollercoasters is JUST DO IT! In order to get over your fear, you must conquer what you are afraid of. I reccomend going on the highest coaster, that way when she realizes how much fun the coaster is she'll forget aout her fear.

I dont really know what to tell you..

I was like that for the longest time.
I rode a roller coaster one time when I was about 9. Scared the mess out of me. I didnt ride one for 6 years. I love them now.

I just had to make myself ride one again.. to see if I would have changed my mind on the not liking them part.

But idk what to tell you..
