i want to lose my gut but put on muscle and weight. i dont really have all the time in the world to work out so i want to maximize it when i do. i sit at a desk from 8 in the morning to 8 at night so my only real work out options is after work before the gym closes. i need a good workout routine to maximize the little time i have. shoudl i do cardio or will that take away from putting on weight?

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

wake up 2 hours earlier and do cadio and lift weights,before i go to school i do weight and some cardio ,when i get home i go jogging.since you are at work all day dont eat as much,when sitting in your desk hold your tummy in at all times and drink up all the water
