I feel like I'm at an all time low right now. I'm afraid that I don't have a chance with girls who are do exceptionally well in school. They were raised to try to get a prosperous future, and that includes marrying a successful husband. I'm so depressed right now; I just think it would be unfair to base love on the grades you get in school.

A diploma or degree does NOT make you intelligent... trust me. I am a junior in college and have met more idiots than I ever expected.
Continuing your education isn't for everybody. My brother's highest level of education is a h.s. diploma and he is VERY happily married (to a girl in the process of getting her undergraduate degree). Also being successful doesn't require a degree or good grades. It all depends on your definition of success!
Not all intelligence is learned through a book- life experiences help you learn too!
As a female, I will tell you that I do NOT have education requirements for guys I date. True- most of them are in college, but that's expected since my college campus is my only 'source'. I am not the only female who isn't obsessed with grades. And it's not like once you graduate girls are going to require a transcript in order to date them!
Be encouraged- Ms. Right is out there! And trust me- she won't care how well you did in high school english.

Intelligence matters to me. Let's face as a woman if you're going to have children, you'll be depending on a husband to carry the financial load. Why wouldn't you want a smart one with a good job?
Stop getting depressed & do something about it. It's not just grades it's confidence. Many men do well with a trade that doesn't require degrees. But you have to show ambition for someone to be interested.

Sure it does. It's always best to date people on your intellectual level. Otherwise, what will you have to talk about? It's not really the grades that count — it's the conversational skill. As for prosperity, most girls I know are preparing to earn their own, instead of waiting for a man to take care of them.

intelligence does matter --- but what do grades have to do with intelligence??? --- grades are only an indication that you can memorise and regurgitate to order --- intelligence is succeeding in spite of good grades --- do a search for successful people that never finished high school (they now employ people with degrees)
