I'm turning 19 in 14 days, and going on a hockey trip with my brothers guys team. And theres a guy or two I'm interested in (and a few I've heard is interested in me).
But some of my guy friends on the team want me to get drunk of drink on my birthday, when I really have no interest. I don't wanna go about telling them mylife story and my reasoning behind not wanting to drink....
But am I a nerd for not getting drunk or drinking on my 19th? And will it turn the guys off of me because of it?
DO guys dislike girls who aren't interested in drinking?
F.Y.I. In canada the drinking age is 19, so i'd be legal. And my brother would be there with me so no one wouldtry anything when hes around (he's 6'4 230 lbs)

No, I don't think that guys have a particular preference on whether a girl is interested in drinking or not. If they do then you probably don't want to be around them because it can only lead to trouble. You are not a nerd for not getting drunk on your birthday. You should do what makes you happy on your birthday and I am sure everyone will respect that. Just tell them you don't want to get drunk and move on from there, no explanation necessary. Have a great birthday and enjoy yourself.

i prefer a lady who does not drink to excess and i suspect you really would not want to know guys that do --- do what you feel most comfortable with --- best wishes

They are just trying to get you drunk so you will have sex.
