Sodom and Gomorrah, which are alledgedly now under the dead sea in southern Israel. They were petty kingdoms. It was a rich area due to bitumen production. Circa 2000 BC.
They were destroyed according to Genesis 18 because they were causing great distress to others, and commiting grievous sins. So it was probably a pretty unpleasant place with a lot of unfriendliness.
In Genesis 19 the men of Sodom wanted to rape two angels (in human guise) who came to warn Lot to flee. But homosexuality wasn't the only thing they were doing.
They were insolent and intimidating towards Lot, even though his uncle had recently helped them overcome an invading king and retrieve a lot of booty seized in the attack.

It is believed that God (allah as you call him) destroyed Soddom and Gommorah for homosexual sins, as well as other sins. While the cities were not destroyed strictly for their homosexual practices, those surely played a role in the destruction.

I am not sure if you are suggesting that Allah destroyed the Mulsim nations because they are homosexuals or for the benefit of homosexuals. Which is it?

None, an entire nation of gays never existed. Even if one did, it would just die out after 1 generation anyway since they could not reproduce. Why would God have to waste his/its power when God can just let nature take its course?
