just keep doing what u're doing. diet, and exercise. sit ups and crunches wont give u abs, all that does is strengthen the muscles under the fat. walking on the tredmill at a medium pace is what burns the fat off of your stomach and everywehre else, as well as other cardio. everyone has abs, some just have fat covering them.

depends on what your current body fat is, there are different approaches depending on that number. getting from say 15% to 10% bf is much, much easier than getting from 10% to 6%.
