Suddenly in the past few days I feel like crying all the time, I cant seem to focus on anything, sometimes I find myself shaking and breathing fast, heart beating fast, also I keep thinking about killing myself which is shocking to me because I never thought I could consider that. The scary part is it actually makes sense to me. I'm afraid to tell anyone, because I actually think I might be going crazy. Anybody else experienced this before?

yes it is called anxiety and i know exactly what you are feeling one thing to do for right know is to take long deep breaths and concentrate on every muscle in your body relaxing. Then if you are suicidal go immediatly to the emergency room closes to you and tell them you are suicidal and they will get you help. that is what i did and i feel so much better. if you ever need someone to talk to email me at kckmellons@yahoo.com i would always be happy to help.

Hi,
It sounds like you might be having an anxiety attack and could be depressed. I had an anxiety attack once, and I thought that I was dying ( rapid heart beat, difficulty breathing, shaking)! It is scary. I'd call your doctor or therapist right away. Please be safe. If you don't feel like you are, go to an emergency room right now. We all need help sometimes, it doesn't mean you are crazy. I wonder, did something happen to upset you recently? If not, then there could be something going on hormonally or physiologically in your body. I've been there and you'll be OK, but get some help as soon as possible! Good Luck , I'll be praying that you'll be OK!

I am also in a similar boat!
I believe I am depressed, and it sounds like you are too, but also suffering anxiety attacks (which I have also had in the past). These are scary things, I know.
What I found shocking too was the thought that ending it all would solve the problems in that I won't have to deal with it anymore....no more stress! In the past I too thought how desperated would someone have to be to do it and now I have thought the same thing!!! But in my heart I know this is silly and not the correct or real thing to do.
You do need to talk to someone.(...a problem shared is a problem halved). It doesn;t need to be someone you know (in fact sometimes its easier). sometimes we get in our heads these huge barriers, that make it hard to see past and getting someone who can put things in perspective can really help. Try one of those free 24hr helpline numbers (I don't know where you live, so I can't help you there) and try that for a start if you cannot talk to someone face to face. Otherwise find a friend or family member you can talk to or even a Dr.
Just know you are NOT ALONE, you are NOT going crazy.
You WILL get through it and you WILL feel better. You should not have to deal with this on your own and you need to find someone who can help you get it sorted. Don't stop until you do!!!!!!

actually, yes. a few times. i suggest you call a close family member of friend. you need to confide in someone you know. they love you and want whats best for you.i'd be willing to bet they won't think your crazy. they'll be concerned and want to help. if you are seriously having trouble right now, get to the hospital, even if you need to call 911. just get there. your right, the scary part is that it makes sense. that's a big warning sign. i can't stress that enough so please go now and get some help. please take care. let us know how you are.

Ok, ask my friend tells me... take a deep breath. (It really can help.) It sounds to me like you're having panic or anxiety attacks. You are NOT going crazy!! Problems with anxiety are often linked to depression as well. I would seriously suggest talking to someone - your doctor or a therapist. They can help.
Good luck!!

You're sain enough to say that you think you're going crazy. You need to STOP the wandering thoughts, nurture yourself with proper vitamins, food, exercise and sleep, take it easy. It will pass, but you must have faith that it will. If it persists, you need to talk to someone. Hopefully listening to your replies will be of some relief. Take care.

yes- see a therapist. it may not help initially, but then you'll realize that youre not crazy. and DONT let them hospitalize you- it's a nightmare.
