pot can cause some anxiety disorders in some people, but not everybody. you must have things going on in your life causing you distress, and anxiety, and perhaps the pot is triggering these feelings. it does not seem that you are a hypochondriac, or you would be most likely in pain all the time. the feeling you describe you chest is typical of people suffering from anxiety. first quit the pot, and perhaps get a physical from your GP to rule out any psychical problems. if you are not feeling any better, you may also be suffering from depression. i suggest you see a psychiatrist first. he would probably recommend a psychologist for therapy, and perhaps some medication until you are feeling better. the prognosis for anxiety disorders is usually quite good. and talking to someone, and perhaps a bit of medication can do wonders for you. i know you will feel better, with some help. hope this is help-full to you. good luck

yes i had these exact symptoms. I always thought i was dying . I would think that i was having a heart attack or a stroke even kidney failure. It got so bad that i got suicidal and then i checked myself into the hospital and they put me on klonopin and lexapro and i feel so much better I no longer feel like i am going to die. I actually go to bed knowing that i am going to wake up. and i sleep quite well. so hey go to the dr or a psychiatrist and tell them what you are feeling and then go do some talk therapy. Ps my emergency room bill from before is huge from being checked out for all my ailments. so i do know exactly what you are going through.

There is absolutely no proof cannabis kills brain cells. Thats just ignorant. Dont give advice if you aren't informed.
Cannabis can cause Anxiety and depression tho. I would stop the cannabis and see a Doc to put your mind at ease.

Ah. I hope you are off the cannabis now. It can take some time for it to leave your system. The paranoia and hypochondria may take longer. And you have killed brain cells permanently. Sorry.
I think you need to go to the doctor, too. Just be honest with him/her. They can't really help you if you aren't. Tell them what you've done in the past and how it's changed you.

unless you think you need medication i wouldn't advise going to a doctor, because they all do the same thing, but i do advise you talk to a therapist, think about what triggers your anxiety and write them down, write everything down and bring it to a therapist, anxiety and paranoia go hand in hand, convincing yourself you have a disease is normal if you have obsessive behaviors, you must have a big fear of death and the more you try not to think about it the worse your paranoia about being ill becomes, my best advice is to see a therapist, and don't settle on the first one you find. look for one specializing in these problems, and i wish you luck, and i hope you feel better abou all of this.

fear of or thinking about death is a very common symptom of clinical depression. i did the same thing for years. see someone who deals in these matters soon. no one wants to think about this if they don't have to. good luck.
ps, what do you mean it started with pot? what was?
