I went to the dr today and said the celexa is just having far to many negatives creating aniexity all day now instead of before..

I was told by the Dr today to discontinue all use of these meds, I asked if there are withdrawals from celexa and she said no, she told me too just stop taking them as of now and come back in 2 weeks to see how I am.

I am going to do what she says, I am sure she is right but I want to ask others what your views are.

Are you seeing a therapist as well? Not just a phychiatrist? Counceling is more important to your getting over depression then drugs.

i guess you could technically call them withdrawl symptoms but they aren't like withdrawl from anything else. the first few days you'll probably feel no different but around the forth day you may feel just a little bit dizzy. it's not a huge deal so don't get anxious if you feel that. it will be gone the next day. each time i go without for a few days this happens. i now remember to fill my rx before it's time. good luck to you.

When I went off Celexa, I developed headaches. Nothing real serious, but I had them.

It poops out, just to let you know. You may have to get a higher dose, or just use different methods of coping with anxiety like yoga and meditation.
