im sure alot of us do that sometimes in one form or another we all need our little places to escape to so that we can feel better and hey if that makes u feel good keep it up as long as u dont get to carried away with it and let it interfiere with ur real life then i dont see a problem with it and if it helps the bipoler then all the better x

I don't like this being in mental health but yeah I do! It's not that life is that bad of course, but I just tell stories to the kids or to my boyfriend about anything really, and just create a whole new world where politics is run fairly and cars drive on sea water and you have good witches who go around making people happy. I like my world, if I want to escape from reality I just go and write a story.

Totally!when i was a kid, life was hard, and i would create my own little world to escape to.I can still be a bit of a daydreamer now, but obviously lifes moved on and idont need it to escape, but just enjoy the freedom of thought. We all need an escape from reality at times, and its actually a healthy thing to do, as its like meditation, in that you switch your mind off all the stuff thats going on in life, and allow your mind time to recuperate.

No. If I started to fantasise about George Peppard I would be worried! No offence but you need to get out a bit more. There's nothing wrong with fantasising a little but it sounds as though you do it a lot - go find yourself a doppelganger and fantasise in the flesh, failing that find a portly white/blond haired geezer and stick a cigar in between his teeth and pretend!

It can lead to Dissassociative Identity Disorder

Be careful.

You might create a different you in the process who will act on your unconsious thoughts

So you can think about hating someone to the point where you want to kill them in your unconscious mind then you can actually do it when your alter switch.

Be afraid.. Be very afraid..
