the first thing comes to mind is mexicans? are they the only immigrants here?it seems to me that all the attention is focused on them!

Get the point? Other nationalities come here and learn our language and our culture...they don't demand us to adapt to them. We don't force our elementary students to learn any other dialect then Spanish...
Sounds like they want all the attention...

I think when people bring up illegal immigration the first thing in many people's mind is Mexicans, but that would be because they are the group yelling the loudest about amnesty for illegal immigrants. When speaking of immigration in general tend to think of people from European countries since most of the people I know who have immigrated are European.

Perhaps it is because the Mexicans who enter the country legally, are the biggest proponents of those who do not, enter legally. This seems to be especially true of second or third generations, who have been born here, and yet speak against our country, when they propose letting illegal immigrants stay. They are as racist as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, are for the black people.

Mexico is our biggest source of legal immigration and also our biggest source of illegal immigration. Despite the first part of that, if you are against illegal immigration, you will be called 'racist against Mexicans'.

I think of Chinese. But if you say "illegal immigration" i think of Mexicans. My state is under invasion.

it is unfortunate but you have to realize 80% off all illegal aliens are Hispanic in origin and most news footage is of the Mexican border crossing.

Because they tend to run their mouths about their rights and demands. We all know that there are other illegals like IRISH,HAITIAN,CUBAN,people from South America but they aren't marching in our streets are they?
