when I go, guilty as charged. It's just our pastor is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring and seams to only be talking to the older people of the church. I usually end up thinking of scenes for whatever story I'm working on.

Ok, I'm not going to tell you to go to church and try again, cause you don't want to hear that.
In my experience, I was raised in a Catholic church with all the ceremony thereof.... and didn't learn a thing as I can't recall even ONE sermon. I began to really lose interest in my teens when I finally realized that the church is on a cycle of teaching according to what time of year it is.
I left the church
I returned after 10 years or so - to a different (evangelical) church. One which operates much like a teaching with prayer and praise instead of liturgy. Been there 20 years now.
Of course there are many times when I find I just can't pay attention like I would like to.... but more often than not, as I rely on the Lord to teach me and keep me focused, I tend to pay better attention and have learnt more than I could have ever possibly learnt as opposed to where I came from.
Please understand however that my experience doesn't mean that the Catholic faith is not right for everyone. I don't believe for a minute that any ONE Christian religion is right over another. God puts us where he wants us. It's up to us to follow his lead in determining where he wants us.
good question

when i was younger and i had to go to church i didnt listen to the priest at all, it was sooooo boring!...It really got on my nerves so much standing up and sitting down all the time and one day i decided to keep sit for the whole thing and people were staring at me as if i was murdering someone...conclusion: people at church look for the smallest of reasons to focus their attention somewhere else since what the priest says is very boring

You need to be lead by the Holy Spirit to find a church that will feed your spirit. If your experience has left you feeling that way, I`d say your in a dead church, please don`t blame God for that I`m sure he`d be bored there too. Please don`t give up. I`ll pray for you!

Depends on the pastor I think. Some are very boring like the one I grew up watching. Try Penecostal.

Constantly! Unfortunately it's up to me as the organist to pay somewhat close attention and not miss any cues hehehe.

Nope,
I am full on praying in the spirit along with the Pastor...
You need to find an engaging Church!
One filled with the Holy Spirit!
Find a "nondenominational" or
"Assembly of God" or
Baptist Church that is on fire for the Lord!
