‘A person of Godly qualities’ we generalise! What qualities are these?

Agreed! None can qualify to become a God. But we attribute certain qualities to God. Please specify these qualities. Can His creations cultivate these qualities in them? If they do, they follow His commandments. If they follow His commandments this world can never be this ugly with so much exploitation, hatred, violence and divisions all over. Kindly take time and give your comments on norm of living values for us to live with faith in God and brotherhood between men.

Humor, creativity. sensitivity, capacity to forgive, to nurture, to inspire people...of course being rich and having a large penis helps...did I mention the humor part :)

There are two main outer qualities (life style) usually seen in human beings, honest and dishonest. Honesty is the result of inner virtues while dishonesty is of outer desires. But both are not sustainable as they may enter into the other one at any time due to circumstances.

Godly qualities are above these two and found in lesser percentage as it is impossible to gain without God realization. Perfect inner purification is the root quality by which one realizes God. All the good qualities permanently get established after realization. Without realization one never is able to experience the inner heaven. But this is an individual matter and you can't expect it from all, and more over the new generation keep on coming with ignorance. They have to achieve it freshly. Ignorant are always after physical survival while Godly after inner true self identity and use it in physical life style too. The propagation of God must go on in the interest of humanity irrespective of the percentage.

God created man as his mirror image in fact.As the other qualities entered into him, he gradually became distanced from Him and completely forgot his identity.

All right , you categorically said none can qualify to become God.Why one should not qualify ? are there not saints and sages and prophets we see equally with God and pray to them too.

God is described as Omnipotent , Omnipresent and Omniscient.
So let us try to describe the qualities off God.
One who is the intelligence beyond which there is no other intelligence.

He is present in all the places in the universe and there is no such place where He is not there.

He is so powerful and mighty that all the power one imagines is nothing before his power.

He is the embodiment of Kindness,COMPASSION,LOVE

He is the Supreme happiness (not pleasure) beyond which there is no other happiness.

He is the embodiment of knowledge,by knowing which there is nothing left to be known. .

He is the most beautiful (embodiment of beauty itself) , and after seeing that beauty there is nothing more beautiful in the universe.

His kindness is Full and impartial.It falls on all equally whether one wants it or not,like Sun shines at all places,if you want or not.

His compassion is infinite.

His mercy is is boundless.

His forgiveness is beyond any limit.
Such are the qualities of God.

As humans we cannot define the qualities of God almighty.we
have no Knowledge of His [glory be to him} qualities except
what He the almighty reveals to us.This is How God almighty
defines Him self in the holy Quran.Chapter 112 , which
translates as
'' Say[ oh Muhammad[pbuh] to the people}He is Allah the one
and only"
'' Allah the self sufficient master[he needs no one but everything is dependent on him ]
'' He beggets not, nor was he begotten''
'' and there is nothing Comparable or co equal unto Him''
This is what Islam considers the touchstone of theology the
qualities of a God that should be worshipped .We have to
understand that God almighty is beyond our comprehension.
The moment we begin to atribute to God qualities that are
human he ceases to be God.God Tells us in Sura 112 in the quran that there is non like unto him,The Bible says in Isaiah
46;9''I am God and there is non else, I am God and there is
None like unto Me.The Hindu scriptures the Svetasvetara
Upinishad, 4;19 ''There is no likeness of Him''. We also know
that in the bible jesus refuses to be called good but said that
only God is good.
In chapter 2 verse 255 of the quran Allah tells us that none has
the right to be worshipped but Him who is the eveliving, who
sustains and protects all that exists and He the almighty tells
us that he does not posess human weakness like sleep or
slumber or even fatique and that He[ glory be to him] guards the entire universe and we would never encompass anything
of his knowledge except what He the almighty wills.The Quran
has the most beautiful names and Qualities that are attributted to almighty Allah .And as Humans we could never.
posess these Qualities nor are we required to.All we are asked to believe in God almighty To worship Him on his terms and conditions and obey his commandments
..Today if we look at the suffering all around us this is only because we have strayed away from what God commanded us to do and we have begun to follow the commands of the devil

Islam is the only religion that has the practical solutions to the
problems of mankind.But other religions who cannot adress the problems of the masses calls the Islamic concepts and laws outdated and Barbaric.If Islam asks the woman to dress
modestly and not reveal her beauty every cries out that Islam
is supressing the woman ,but when women parade half naked, are used as toys and play things in the name of art and culture and are sexually harassed in their offices and raped day in and day out this is acceptable Islam priscribes
death to the rapest,death to the drug dealers,people call it
barbaric but it will get results.Islam has a sotution for widows,
and woman who cannot find Husbands due to the shortage
and availability of men in certain countries , that they can
marry married men if they choose to but this does not go down peoples throat where the woman will be legally married
and get her rights, but they would prefere to have mistresses
and use them to commit adultry and finally leave them when
they get fed up for some one else.Islam has the solution to
erridacate poverty where it says that every rich person must
pay a charity of 2.5% to the poor , and by the way this is compulsary for the muslims so if you emplement this world
wide ,poverty will be wiped away from the face of this earth.
Islam strongly prohibits Alcohol the Mother of all evils and has
a severe punishment for those who produce it and sell it and serve it but religions like christianity actually allows it as even
the priests like a sip of it during mass and unfortunately they
attribute it to jesus [ pbuh] who is supposed to have encouraged people to drink by changing water into wine can
you believe this?It is only the belief in one God almighty and
adhering to his commandments can we find true and universal brotherhood and peace.

Just, merciful, righteous. The formula for world peace etc. Will be difficult because there are those who believe in forcing to accept their way of getting to God. As to the question of the ugliness etc. God gave us the world to build or destroy the choice is ours not everyone makes the right decision

Jesus gave many guidelines and examples to live by in the new testament. He knew we would never be perfect but wants us to strive to be. God is love and kindness, but he is a jealous God and wants us to put nothing before him. When you do, you make that object your idol and he does not like that. For someone who is not a christian and loves their sins, what Jesus is asking seems like a lot. However to a christian whose eyes are open, what he is asking is not much compared to the reward we will recieve in heaven.

God's most outstanding characteristic is his holiness. This refers to his sinless nature, which means that everything that he is and does is righteous. Without holiness God could not love with perfect love, he could not be merciful or bestow grace. In order for God to have created a perfect universe he had to be perfect himself, which means he had to be without sin, and thus holy. The universe and everything in it is maintained through God's holiness. We shall be redeem through God's holiness.
