Great question.
I would rather spend time in hell with my kids, than eat at a feast in paradise knowing they were writhing in pain, because they couldn't grasp Christianity without tangible proof of the existence of God.

When God shows them in front of everyone why they are being put in and how many chances they had, you will admit that God's rule is just. I am the only person in my entire family in all branches who believes, not a single living relative has accepted the Lord, do you think I'm going to enjoy watching all those trials? Of course not, but I also know that God will give them every chance to join Him that is possible. If they still refuse, how can I justify them in a place sin is not allowed to exist?
The bible tells us God loves each of us more than we can possibly know, how do you think HE feels about it?! He's constantly calling more to Him, many hear His message and ignore it for the time being. Soon a large soul harvest will take place, but many will die as well sadly. The Tribulation will bring about a number of people who turn to the Lord that the number couldn't be counted. Once that hits I'm sure that within DAYS there will be as many believers in the world as there was before it started, maybe more.

You are thinking with a finite mind. We all do of course. Jesus said "I will wipe away all tears"and " they shall be with me forever". Its not brainwashing, it will be a perfect existence that we cannot phantom. I understand your thoughts on this, indeed it is a very good question. We do not have the answers to so many questions. I do not have one that will satisfy you. God has an absolutely perfect plan, that much I know. I understand that this is not satisfying to our human understanding, that is what faith is of course. If you want to help, do all you can to get them there through a relationship with Christ. Who cares what egotistical self righteous people say, this is to important to worry or even care about what they think, its your eternity, bring your friends with you, at least those that will see the truth

Who's fault would it be that they end up there? Do atheists always want to blame God for their choices?
Shame on God? When we get to heaven all we will wish to do is worship God, we will be in a perfect place and you cannot make the desicions for your family, I'm sorry but it just doesn't work that way my friend...
Christianity is all about God, love Him with all your heart, and with all your mind, and all your soul... We could very well feel bad for them, but they had to make a desicion either they wanted to be a christian or they didn't

yes it would, and I'm sure there are not a lot of sad people going around heaven. It is our job to share God's word. It was shared with us so we must share it with others, because it would be a shame if my children were to go to hell. That is why I will teach them while they are young. Everyone makes choices, and we are not super heroes who can save everyone from hell, we can only pray they will listen.

I completely agree. You're right that some people hold to the explanation that God makes you forget all the people who are in hell. Why that's supposed to make me feel any better about it, I'll never understand.

For what it's worth, the bible makes no mention of hell as a place of eternal torment, and that notion of hell was unknown to the early christians.
See the linked source for details.

According to the Bible heaven is paradise and when you get there anything that will bring you pain will disappear. So if your children, husband, wife, or whatever are not there you will not remember them.

I childproofed my house, but it didn't make any difference. He still gets in. I imagine heaven would be the same.
