My kids are atheists, and they don't want to be around Christian kids, they avoid them like the plague. They find them loudmouthed, judgmental, spoiled, and badly behaved.

I can't say I know of a biblical basis for this...
In my church, our children are encouraged to get out there and bear witness. to love their neighbor as Christ loves the church.
As far as immoral. some may be raised to be immoral, some may not. morality is not an entirely religious or spiritual issue. a person can have morals and not have Christ. what Christ brings is the gift of Grace and Peace. he brings assurance of Salvation.
for this reason, christian kids should be encouraged to not only socialize with athiest kids, but to be an example and a witness of the love and grace of God!

That depends on how they behave. If Christians believe in the Bible and atheists don't, then obviously atheists may influence Christians' children. I don't have children, and I'm not sure that I would forbid this, but what do I know? What I can understand is when parents can see how other children may be a bad influence on their own children, and want to protect them from that. Eventually, though, we all have to live and make choices without the guidance of our parents, and we should learn how to do this before we are seperated from our parents. We must learn to how make these choices in the presence of many who do not believe as we do - that is inevitable.

in my opinion, i do not provide a rattling if young children opt for to bow their heads and pray over their lunch. they're properly interior of their suitable to finish that on account that we've freedom of religion right here interior the US. besides the indisputable fact that, this u . s . became outfitted on secular beliefs, and to in the present day continues to be an formally secular u . s .. this suggests the authorities won't be able to recommend, promote, or implement anybody non secular theory over yet another. they ought to proceed to be impartial. briefly, it would not count number number if non secular each person is maximum human beings or no longer. individual scholars could prepare their faith as they see in fantastic condition, yet authorities funded, public colleges may no longer implement any non secular prepare on a school-huge factor. A instructor can positioned on her go all day lengthy, and also you received't listen a peep from me. the second one she forces her complete type to participate in a prayer, i will develop hell because she's breaking the regulation. it really is an same reason creationism won't be able to study in public colleges alongside medical theories mutually with evolution and the large bang. Creationism is a non secular idea, depending on the theory that some deity or yet another created each thing. Evolution, besides the indisputable fact that, is a mundane idea, in accordance to years of medical study and overwhelming quantities of info. u . s . isn't a theocracy, and till the day we modify into one, i visit't stand by technique of at the same time as the constitutional separation between church and state is violated. that isn't any longer some thing personal.

I think it is not so much that there is something wrong with atheist children, but that they don't share the values you want to instill in your children.
As my parents said, it isn't that they will encourage you to do wrong things, but will the encourage you to do right things?
But, I personally know plenty of "Christian" kids I wouldn't want my kids playing with. Biblically there are scriptures that talk about associations and the importance of choosing your friends carefully.

Why would they be immoral? Because they dont believe what you believe? That seems pretty judgemental to me. Who are you to question anyones morals? Do you live a perfect life? Do youdo nothing wrong, ever?
Morallity is an opinion, it is not a law. Just because someone dosent believe tha same thing you do, dosent mean that they are immoral.
This is the type of thinking that pushes non-believers farther away from what you are trying to prove.
Blind Faith = Stupidity, this question proves that.

For me it brings to mind the ordeal of Dinah.
If you recall the account..........
"Now Di′nah the daughter of Le′ah, whom she had borne to Jacob, used to go out to see the daughters of the land" -Genesis 34:1
Daughters of the land is not referring to her own people.
It refers to those non Jews that did not worship the God of the Jews, or for us, the God of the Bible. So, she basically rubbed elbows with those that were not of her faith. When all is said and done they were either pagans or worshipers of other deities.
Now, what happens because of this association?
Even though Shechem is the "most honorable of the whole house of his father" (Genesis 34:19), we find the following take place:
"And She′chem the son of Ha′mor the Hi′vite, a chieftain of the land, got to see her and then took her and lay down with her and violated her. 3 And his soul began clinging to Di′nah the daughter of Jacob, and he fell in love with the young woman and kept speaking persuasively to the young woman. 4 Finally She′chem said to Ha′mor his father: “Get me this young lady as a wife.”" -Genesis 34:2-4
Dinah is raped.
Although this is from the Hebrew Scriptures it is notable that a principle that draws from this situation is brought out at 1st Corinthians 15:33:
"Do not be misled. Bad associations spoil useful habits"
Also:
(Proverbs 13:20) He that is walking with wise persons will become wise, but he that is having dealings with the stupid ones will fare badly.
(1 Corinthians 5:6) YOUR [cause for] boasting is not fine. Do YOU not know that a little leaven ferments the whole lump?
(2 Peter 2:2) Furthermore, many will follow their acts of loose conduct, and on account of these the way of the truth will be spoken of abusively.

We are a Christian family - when kids come over to play I don't ask what their religious beliefs are - I just welcome them to play - so I wouldn't know if my kids were playing with atheists kids or not. I'm more concerned that everyone plays nice together and no one gets left out than I am about what religion they are.

1 Corinthians 15: 33 Do not be misled. Bad associations spoil useful habits ! Corinthians 6: 9 What! Do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God's kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither Fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor Revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God's kingdom. 11 And yet that is what some of you were,

2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
It was written regarding marriage to unbelievers, but some extend it to all relationships.
