I believe in God because it makes the most sense for me. I can't understand the possiblity of a universe without a guiding hand. there is too much order and perfection for the universe to have occured all on its own. Science continues to show the order and goodness of the universe, so it leads one to believe in God.
My only problem is when dealing with the idea of wheter God is a personal God or an Impersonal God. (as in does he interfere with his creation or has he merely created it and let it go). That is one that is harder to work my mind around. But personal experience gives me the belief that God is personally involved in his creation and works within the universe to bring us meaning.

I studied the bible weekly with Jehovah's Witnesses using a bible aid at the time known as the Truth Book which set a record and is in the Geniuses Book of World Records.
I became convinced that what I was learning from the bible really was the Word and Truth from Jehovah and I wanted to server Jehovah the way mankind was created to do. As an benefit to me for my exclusive devotion to Jehovah, he has giving me a hope of eternal life on a Paradise Earth.
But I'm not alone with, 6.7 million others have this same hope and we are growing in number everyday.

Disobedience cuts one off from Yahweh and the Savior. Those who keep the seventh day Sabbath show obedience to Yahweh by resting as Yahweh did.
Hebrews 4:9-11—
9 Therefore, there remains the keeping of the Sabbath to the people of Yahweh,
10 For he who has entered into His rest has also ceased from his own works, as Yahweh did from His.
11 Therefore, let us be zealous to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall after the SAME EXAMPLE OF UNBELIEF.
Gathering on Yahweh's Sabbaths with those who have the same obedient spirit is called a holy convocation, meaning holy gathering.
This is why I believe because just like the scriptures says I see so many who say that they believe but by the breaking of the Sabbath they show their unbelief.

I believe and I know. It's a matter of faith. It's a matter of hearing, (and reading) the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing & hearing by the Word of God. The more you hear the Word of God, the more it stirs up your faith. Then there's a revelation, it's like believing in the heart and knowing in the heart without having any scientific evidence that God is real. It's a spiritual thing. God has to reveal Himself to you. The Bible says to seek and ye shall find. If you ask God to come into your life and reveal Himself to you. He will. It's like scales falling from your eyes. You were blind, but now you see. If you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you. It's like a relationship (which is what He really desires from you) . If you pray to God& read the Bible (He'll also open up your understanding of the Bible) that's like spending time with, & acknowledging Him because trully He is real, you'll come to know and believe. It's like receiving a relelation in the heart, to where it later enters the mind. The only way that that can really happen, is first you surrender your will to God, The Bible says in John 7:17 (These are the words of Jesus) "If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own".

Don't you have your own opinions?
I believe because of personal experiences that have no scientific explanation as of yet. I'm also a Pagan.
BTW - I didn't mean anything bad toward you by asking if you had your own opinions. I just think belief should be based on experience and people should, in the very least, know why they believe if they do.

One believes when he has no other choice left wityh respect to your own perspectives..
I saw the sun rising in the east today, I saw it rising in the east yesterday, I saw it rising in the east since years. If my perspective is my experience alone, I would belive that the sun will always rise in the east. But if I start wondering about the chances of sun rising iun the west, I would have to research. Gathering the knowledge, I learnt that for the sun the rise in the west, the rotation of the earth will have to be reversed which is something impossible. So now I would believe that sun would still rise in east. In case my perspectives allow me to think beyond all possibilities, I would think of ways to reverse the rotation of the earth. But with that activity, the earth would change its, orbital path, or just rip off. So practically its impossible to see sun rising from the sun in the west. Hence I believe that it would rise in the east.
And just to prove my point once, taht sun could possibly rise in the west, I travel around the earth from east to west at a high speed. At a point I would see the sun rising in the west. But the fact to the world would still remain the same... sun rises in the east. So I have no other choice. Finally, I now believe taht the sun rises in the east.
In case, you want different illustrations, feel free to mail me.
All the best....

I believe because Jesus is the most awesome dude ever! Seriously He alone got me outta some pretty rough times. Also think about this...If I were to claim to be God it wouldn't take you a single minute to disprove me, and probably not much more for me to disprove somebody else's claims. Yet 2000 years later still nobody can disprove Jesus's claims of being the eternal God. His resurection could have been easily been disproved but it has not! That's enough for me dude.

I believe in Christ, because I am a different person. I have peace, joy and I can take bad news better. And as I grow in my belief, I am blessed more and more.. I use to live as I please. Now I live under principles of Jesus teachings. The bible gives me guildance and peace. The Holy Spirit intervention in my life keeps me from sinning. I think different and I can Pary with results now.
I can't steal, kill or lie as a result of God's prescent in my life. The Bibles tells their story and I have experienced personal proof of God's existence through my own life experiences.
Christianity is at least three things:
A set of beliefs
A way of life
A community of people
"Different Christian groups place different weights on these three aspects, but they always involve all three. All three aspects are based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, who is also known as the Christ. ("Christ" was originally a title. It is the Greek form of the Hebrew "Messiah", meaning "anointed".)"
When you say that someone is a Christian, you normally mean that he accepts the major Christian beliefs. Members are expected to accept the standards of their Church community.
Statements of Faith:
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, He is the creator of Heaven and Earth.
Human beings are created in the image of God.
Jesus Christ, His only son sent to redeem a lost world. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, (Col 1:14-16, 19) - The other thing to note is that Christ is seen as "pre-existent". That is, creation was done through him. While he was born sometime around 3 BC, there was also a sense in which that human being embodies something that was around before the world was created. (John 1:1-3a, 14)
God's glory and the exact imprint of God's very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. (Heb 1:1-3a)
Jesus' life, death, and resurrection happened.
Jesus and Christians are the only religion where someone profess to have return from the dead. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended to hell.
On the third day he rose again from the dead, ascended to heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father almighty, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
The Holy Spirit is the bond that unites us with God. This is not "the Force." God is personal, so the Holy Spirit is a personal presence.
Heaven: Our Intended Destination - Earth s not our home. We live in a body but we are Spiritual beings.
Judgement will come;
Christians believe that there will be a judgement. In this, everyone's life will be evaluated.
Accountability has to be given;
The existence of a real universe with dependable laws has consequences. All major Christian traditions say that in the end everyone will end up in either heaven or hell, (freedom from God).
God chooses us (me)
We respond with faith, which basically means that we rely on God for salvation
God forgives us, and simultaneously starts renewing us and getting rid of our sin
Why do Christians Believe This?
Revelation tells us that;
Christians consider Christianity to be a "revealed" religion. Various Christian traditions differ in how much they believe it is possible to know about God without some special revelation from him. But all agree that we wouldn't have these beliefs unless God had taken actions to reveal himself to us.

I believe in God because he has shown me love by dying on the cross for my sins, for answered prayers, for miracles, I believe in God because I know that when I die I am going to go to heaven and be with the loved one who have gone on before. Just look around you at all creation, what more can I say.
I am so blessed to know that when God created the earth and everything in it he paused and took the time to mold me with his own hands and breathed the breath of life in me. There are so many reasons why I believe. The list can go on and on.
